The Grinch - My View Of It All #1

Jesus did not come to start a religion; He came to create a Kingdom. This Kingdom affects Government, Politics, Economics, Religion, Social Dynamics (family, friends, and encounters with people.)

All hurts, traumas, and trials you go through in life come from one of the five Government, Politics, Economics, Religion, Social Dynamics. The answer to healing all hurts, traumas, and trials is the Kingdom.

In this movie clip, we saw the school classroom's social dynamics had a detrimental outcome on a person's destiny.  From that point on in life, everything is viewed through the lenses of that hurt, trauma, or trial.

  • Hurts - minor things that either happen to you or because of you but have a significant impact on you
  • Trials - things outside our control that affect the way we live life
  • Traumas - Major events that leave deep scars

But, when a person cared enough to love, it resulted in a life change.

When hurts, trials, and traumas occur, the answer is not to do better or try harder; It is to let Christmas infiltrate the areas of your life that are bound up in death.

John 10:10 is the reason for Christmas, but Luke 4:18 is the essence of Christmas.

John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.”

Essence - is the attribute or set of attributes that make an object or substance what it fundamentally is, and which it has by necessity, and without those attributes it loses its identity.

Luke 4:18-20 "The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."

Merry - to be happy and joyful

Christ - the Anointed One and His Anointing

            Mas - to celebrate

is the attribute or set of attributes that make an object or substance what it fundamentally is

            Luke 4:18 lists these attributes:

  1. Preach the good news to the poor
  2. Proclaim freedom to the prisoners
  3. Recover sight to the blind
  4. Release the oppressed
  5. Proclaim God’s Favor

If we equate these 5 attributes to just be Spiritual or to just be Physical, we miss the Kingdom's real power and fullness. and which it has by necessity

If Luke 4:18 is the Essence of Christmas, that means these 5 statements that describe what the anointing is; without these attributes, we cannot call Christmas, Christmas.

Example: Chocolate Chip Cookie

What are the attributes of a Chocolate Chip Cookie?

To keep it simple, we'll just say the dough and Chocolate Chips.

If I were to take the Chocolate Chips out (an attribute), would I still have a chocolate chip cookie? No

When the anointing is taken out of Christmas, you just simply have a holiday.

and without those attributes it loses its identity

The reason we are fighting the battle of "Keep Christ in Christmas" and "It is Merry Christmas, not Happy Holidays" is because, by definition alone, Christmas about bringing the Anointing of God back in the earth, and we have made it about presents and trees.

It is no secret why Christmas has lost its identity because we have taken out the fundamental attributes that make it “Christmas.”

Jesus is not about a holiday or religion… he is about establishing a Kingdom by a specific power called the anointing. That power changes things Spiritually and Physically. It is where heaven meets earth.

Today there is good news, freedom, sight, release, and favor. Let the Kingdom bring to life that which hurts, trials and traumas have tied to kill.
