Planted - Trans-Planted #2

Planted - “Fruit where you are, Roots where you’re Growing.”

3 Keys to “Roots”

  1. Attending - 3 Sunday’s per month. National statistics show active church attendance is 1.8 Sundays a month.
  2. Inviting - Inviting means Invested. If you won’t invite someone it is because of one of 2 reasons: A Fruit Issue or A Root Issue.  You’re Not Producing or You’re Not Planted.
  3. Invest - Time (Attending), Talent (Fruit or Inviting), Tithe (Financially)

Matthew 7:15-17

15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 16 You will recognize them by their fruits. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? 17 So, every healthy tree bears good fruit, but the diseased tree bears bad fruit. 18 A healthy tree cannot bear bad fruit, nor can a diseased tree bear good fruit. 19 Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Thus you will recognize them by their fruits.”

Matthew 12:33

33 “Either make the tree good and its fruit good, or make the tree bad and its fruit bad, for the tree is known by its fruit. 34 You brood of vipers! How can you speak good, when you are evil? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 The good person out of his good treasure brings forth good, and the evil person out of his evil treasure brings forth evil. 36 I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, 37 for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.”

Planted - “Fruit where you are, Roots where you’re Growing.”

Fruit -

John 15:16 “16 You did not choose Me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit, and that your fruit should remain…” (NKJV)

God wants you to produce Fruit, not just some fruit but A LOT of Fruit. I mean, more than A LOT, storehouses of Fruit!!!

What God sees in you, What I see in you is so mind blowing that it is world changing.

On saying that, a lot of our minds go “What do I have to do?” Many of us get immediately discouraged and the stress of “striving to produce” overshadows your “choosing” and “appointment” to produce.

Striving to Produce actually cripples your Ability to Produce.

For us to produce “much fruit” you have to get planted in his “Choosing Power” not your “Producing Power.”

You only have to do “1 Thing” to produce A LOT of Fruit - Trans-Plant!

Illustration: Save Me a Seat: Chair and Plant

Have you ever had someone save you a seat? It means they turn everyone else away “choosing” you to sit next to them.

This is what God did for you:

Ephesians 2:6 “and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

He did more than save you a seat, He created you a seat.

Now if the Father seated us with Him (Jesus)  we need to figure out where Jesus is seated.

Ephesians 1:20-23 "20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. 22 And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church, 23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.”

Some of you are saved but have not made the Trans-Plant to Sons.

22 “And he put all things under his feet”

When you realize, “He Created you a seat and Saved you a seat” because you are THAT IMPORTANT, you’ll realize the manure you have been standing in and going through is transformed into fertilizer for your growth.

You have got to make the Trans-Plant!

Production:

The great dichotomy in Ephesians is You are Seated/Planted there so you can Stand/Produce here.

If He “Chose You” and if He “Planted You” it is His responsibility to “Produce You.”

“I’m not the typical choice” is what most people are thinking right now.

You are not the typical choice, but you are His Choice.

He chose you to “Produce A LOT of FRUIT!”

Now you have a Choice?

I can choose to be His Child and get Planted or choose My Abilities and try and prove my worth by My Production.

Moment of Truth: I will not always be a Pastor/Preacher. I will ALWAYS be a Son.

Therefore to produce A LOT of Fruit my supreme value is on my relationship as a Son not my Gift of preaching.

In being a great Son I know He will do a lot of producing.
